We have a lot of red brick buildings of this kind here in Europe. If you hadn't state it I wouldn't have recognized that you touched up the colours. The thing I like most about it, is the reflexion of the branches in the window
If you take a look at the link in the description, you'll see that I really only made it a bit darker. It's actually pretty close to that colour red. This neighborhood in Washington, DC has a lot of interesting, European-style buildings like this.
And yeah, the overcast weather yielded some nice reflections. :]
Thanks so much! I took this while the wifey and I were trying to make it to a show on time. I didn't get it as centered as I would have liked because I was in a rush, but it turned out fine. :]
I like buildings that have the rounded out ends like this! And I know the color is touched up, but it looks really awesome with the brighter red bricks. ^_^ Awesome picture!
Thanks! To be honest, though, I really didn't touch it up that much! The bricks are VERY red, not like what I think of bricks as normally. Take at it here:
Oh wow! You're right! You didn't do much to it! It just looks like you were able to take a picture of it on a brighter day. XD That's awesome! Bright red bricked buildings are beautiful to me. They make me think of my friend, Billy, who's a mason. He enjoys the bright red brick buildings too! Lol!
Yeah, I'm still experimenting with the software and learning how do so some simple things (adding frames, fixing the exposure, etc). So it will be small things like that for the time being! XD
